Josh and Rowan: recorded by the host.

Host 1 Okay, you guys there's a secret room in Pokemon diamond pearl and platinum You meet Arceus there and nobody could get it in the proper way The key was never given out not to anyone that's so weird this is random Pokemon facts I'm Josh it's Tuesday so it's video games today is all about secrets hidden inside the games so that secret place is called the hall of origin it's way up above spear pillar to get there you need an item called the azure flute but here's the twist the flute was never officially given out the hall of origin and the azure flute were already in the games sitting right there the whole time it's like a room in your house but the key is hidden inside the walls so when could players finally get there it took the remakes brilliant diamond and shining pearl in those games you can earn the azure flute just by playing finally okay next secret pokemon go you know this three starters right Bulbasaur Charmander and Squirtle but what if you just walk away from them they pop up they pop back up around you and your phone vibrates walk away again and they come back again keep doing it about four or five times then a secret fourth star shows up can you guess who

Host 1 it's a Pikachu you can catch it as your very first Pokemon when the game came out in 2016 guides called it the hidden trick in true Nintendo tradition now let's go way back to Pokemon gold silver and crystal there's a spot called Mount Moon Square show up on the right night between 8 PM and midnight and you see two Clefairy dancing around a rock which night do you think

Host 1 Monday when you walk in the Clefairy run away and leave the rock behind and hidden inside that rock is a moonstone but if you leave before you smash it the rock disappears until next Monday and heart gold and soul silver the dance lasts until 4 AM Tuesday and there the Clefairy dance around a pond that reflects the moon so why Monday it was picked on purpose and lots of languages the word Monday comes from the word moon that's so clever

Host 1 one more game secret this one's about Celebi in Pokemon crystal there's an event with a special item called the GS ball it leads you to Celebi in Japan getting was seriously hard you plugged your game into a mobile phone with the mobile system GB you needed all 16 badges you had to beat a mini game and then you had to pass a quiz but here's the crazy part the GS ball event was in the English Game Boy Color version too it was right there in the game but was never switched on so players outside Japan couldn't catch real Celebi in the game when do you think that changed?

Host 1 In 2018 when Crystal came out again on the 3DS Virtual Console and it got way easier beat the Elite Four visit the Pokemon Center in Goldenrod City and the nurse just hands you the GS ball wild fact time the first player ever to reach level 50 in Pokemon Go was an Australian streamer named Fleesking on January 26 2021 how far do you think he walked 20,614 kilometers that's about the same as 488 and a half marathons he hit level 50 at 3 AM with his mom there and almost 5,000 people watching live and he beat another streamer Lauren Lolly by just 16 minutes riddle time back in 1999 Burger King had a big Pokemon promotion the slogan was gotta catch them here and they sold a set of six special Pokemon cards each card came packed inside a Pokeball and each one came with a certificate from Nintendo of America proving that was the real thing so what were these card covered in shiny silver real gold or sparkly glitter

Host 1 okay ready real gold 23 carat gold a golden Pokemon card from a burger place that's the show for today tomorrow is Wednesday so it's battle day I can't wait pick your side and I'll see you tomorrow bye this was Josh
